Team Management
Team and Business plans allow you to invite team members who share your subscription. This guide explains how team management works, including invitations, usage sharing, and member roles.
Overview
With a Team or Business plan, you can invite other users to join your team. Team members get access to all the features of your plan without needing their own subscription.
- Team plan: up to 5 members
- Business plan: up to 15 members
- Members get access to VM obfuscation, API access, and all advanced options
- Billing is managed entirely by the team owner
Inviting Members
To invite a team member, go to Settings > Team and enter their email address. They will receive an invitation email with a link to join.
- If the person already has an account, they can accept the invitation after signing in
- If they don't have an account, the link takes them to a registration page with their email pre-filled
- Invitations expire after 7 days. You can resend them from the Team settings page
- Users with an active paid subscription must cancel it before they can join a team
Usage Sharing
Team usage follows a hybrid model:
- Monthly quota is shared— all team members (including the owner) draw from the same monthly pool. For example, the Team plan has 500 MB/month shared across all members.
- Daily limits are individual— each member gets their own daily allocation from the plan. For the Team plan, each member has their own 150 MB/day limit.
- The team owner can see each member's daily usage on the Team settings page
Managing Members
As a team owner, you can manage your members from the Team settings page:
- Deactivate— temporarily suspends a member's access. They cannot obfuscate code while deactivated, but they still occupy a seat.
- Reactivate— restores a deactivated member's access
- Remove— permanently removes a member from the team. They revert to a free account. The seat is freed up for a new member.
Leaving a Team
Team members can leave at any time from Settings > Team. When you leave:
- You lose access to the team's plan features immediately
- Your account reverts to the free plan
- Your obfuscation history and API keys are preserved
- The team owner's seat is freed up
What Happens When the Plan Changes
- Owner downgrades from Team/Business to Pro or Free: all team members are deactivated and pending invitations are revoked
- Owner downgrades from Business to Team (15 → 5 members): if more than 5 members are active, the most recently joined members are deactivated
- Subscription expires or is cancelled: all team members are deactivated
